My name is Josh Wisor, I am custom knife maker in Port Republic, Virginia.   Growing up, I have always enjoyed art and making things with my hands.  A few years ago I had an interest to start a new hobby that could incorporate both of those interests.   So I was naturally drawn to Bladesmithing.   The more I learned and the further I dug in the more my interest grew.  Over time, that hobby has naturally progressed into a passion where it exponentially  expanded the different techniques and skills that I could try and learn.  Since then I have focused on creating fully functional art pieces while continually trying to improve on my work with each new project.
